Welcome to Envision Racing. A race team focused on paving the way for the next generation of New Zealand mountain bike talent. To put things simply we're committed to creating a supportive team environment where riders can explore their potential and pursue their riding and racing desires.
This approach provides grassroots support for the next generation of riding and racing talent to pave their way forward as riders and good people in the cycling community. In doing this we aim to blend the culture of gravity mountain biking and the spirit of competition. Ultimately, becoming a cornerstone in the development of relationships between these young rippers, our supporters and those we compete alongside and in front of throughout New Zealand and the globe.
With both Jonty and Cole heading off on their first overseas racing trips we got the whole crew together and linked up with the wicked industry mates to get the boys rolling fast with plenty of confidence on the bike before they jet off.

The world renowned Skyline Rotorua played host to the team camp with great mid winter access to the famous hero dirt, coffee shops within arms reach and short drive across town for a wrap up BBQ by the lake. Seriously, what more could you want?
The day kicked off with Jono from Suspension Lab helping the boys dial in their set up. This process involved taking a look at what the boys are currently running and making changes throughout the day to show what the adjustments do and how this impacts their riding. Eventually landing on a set up that fills them with confidence to go fast on a platform they believe and trust in.

Matt from BrakeAce joined the camp to help the guys with their braking by using his sensors to measure every aspect of their braking. This links into an app that analyses the ride so you can learn exactly where and how to brake smarter. With racing all about managing speed BrakeAce was able to visually show the guys opportunities to improve.

The team camp was a huge success. Exposing the lads to an environment where they can share feedback and have industry experts translate that into positive bike or technique adjustments. Both Jonty and Cole have learned lots throughout the camp and taken a bunch of confidence away with them.
We are pumped to see them go racing!
